§ 6-68. Publication of notice of application for license; background investigation.

No application for a license for the sale or manufacture of malt beverages within this city shall be acted upon by the city commission until after notice has been run two times in the county legal organ. Such notice shall contain the name of the applicant and the location of the proposed business and shall be run at the applicant's expense. Additionally, a background investigation of the applicant shall be conducted and a public hearing held on the application prior to commission action. A fee of $100.00 shall be charged the applicant to defray the city's expense in conducting the background investigation.
